I got the following error.

To do so First look for the log file at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\LOGS
Look for the correlation ID and start googling according to the error Message. Luckily for me the issue was with the application pool awudnsdnr…………… being stopped. The application pool are some random app-pool with some random names. And the magic worked.
